Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA)

RCIA is a program designed for persons interested in studying the Catholic Faith. These may be persons who are not currently Catholic but have an interest in discovering our faith and/or joining the Catholic Church as an adult. It may also be adult Catholics who have not yet received the Sacrament of Confirmation, to prepare for that sacrament and learn more about their faith in an effort to gain an adult understanding and commitment.

RCIA meets on Wednesday nights from 7:00- 9:00 on the 3rd floor of the Meerschaert House on the St. Francis campus from August until Easter the following year. During these meetings, there is teaching as well as discussion and question and answer periods. It is a great way to get to know the Catholic Faith better. The 2007-08 schedule for RCIA is below:
